n-ary launches new product.

April 3rd, 2002, Dumfries, UK - Java software company n-ary (consultancy) ltd. have added a new offering to their product suite. Ticket System wears a variety of hats and can be utilised as a Bug Reporting System, a Project Management System, Knowledge Base or even a Call Logging System.

The overriding versatility of the new product means that it can be used as any of the above tools or all at once all four.

"The Ticket System is a knowledge-based system, which was designed specifically for the development team to track reported bugs and features." Said Alan Williamson, CTO. "It was designed for internal use initially and as is the way with many tools it was added to and altered until we found that it was versatile enough to do many jobs, not just the one it was designed for. This meant that we could not only keep using it for the Bug Tracking but for Project Management and as a Log of Client Calls. It then became apparent that if we found it so useful then other companies would as well." Every new ticket is assigned a unique tracking number that is then used to report against. Users of the system can attach notes to any ticket as well as assigning a particular status to that ticket.

A key issue with the purchase with many software products is the possibility of hidden extras that are required to run the software and a worry for many companies is "Do I have the right Operating System to run this wonderful new software product?"
The n-ary developers have thought of this and the whole system, that is everything that is required to run the Ticket System, is shipped with it so that you have a one off install and a one off payment.

Another key point with many companies when buying software is the cost involved when you have a larger company and multiple licenses are required, with Ticket System one license covers unlimited users and this is not compensated for by a higher initial licence.
